あらすじ

 突然の衝撃で、ドロシーは目が覚めた。サイクロンに運ばれていた家が地面に着地したのだ。
 彼女が玄関を開けると、乾いたカンザスの大平原とは違う、緑豊かな美しい土地が広がっていた。

 ドロシーは衝撃で目が覚めました。もしも柔らかなベッドに横になっていなかったなら、怪我をしていたかもしれないくらい突然の激しい衝撃でした。

As it was, the jar made her catch her breath and wonder what had happened; and Toto put his cold little nose into her face and whined dismally.

 目が覚めたと同時に、その衝撃でドロシーは何が起きたのかと驚き、息が止まりました。
